Unfortunately we must advise that the Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory that has been in affect in Oxbow WILL CONTINUE for at least two more weeks. We are seeing water usage spiking during the peak daytime hours, causing challenges with our wells in keeping up. With the dry weather, the Public Works Department is requesting that you **limit watering of lawns and gardens** from 7:00 to 10:00 in the morning, and the same times in the evening. Thank you!

By-Law 1065, approved on June 11, 2015 authorized a 150% yearly increase to water & sewer rates over a five-year period. In 2015, the rate increases were justified to recover deficiencies in annual revenues to meet expenditures and to allow for funding of specified utility reserves. Dams Releasing Water

Update from Sask Water Security regarding outflow from dams. Rafferty was increased to 12 cms (cubic meters per second) yesterday. Up to 14 on Monday and 16 on Wednesday. Alameda Dam is increased to 4 today, 9 on Monday and 14 on Wednesday. Please stay off the ice!!

THIN ICE

The Water Security Agency is advising the public that due to an increase in flow of water from Rafferty Reservoir THIN ICE and UNSAFE conditions could occur downstream. Residents are being advised to use extreme caution and stay off the Souris River.

Everything is now functioning properly with our wells.  We are just waiting for our Water Tower to fill and then we will remove the Water Ban.
