Oxbow's library offers a variety of adult and children programming. There is public access computer (internet), and inter-library loans gives individuals' access to all provincial libraries and their collections.
The conference room is available to community non-profit organizations at no charge. It can be rented by others at $35 per day with kitchen access $5 extra. Contact the library to reserve the conference room or for more information!

Oxbow Town Council works hard to promote community safety and works closely with police and other agencies in helping to address issues relating to crime and other anti-social behaviour.
Community Safety involves everyone in the Town from the Mayor and councillors to the private sector, community groups, other orders of government, R.C.M.P, Fire Department, volunteer organizations and individual residents.

RCMP
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police patrols the town of Oxbow. Although the detachment is located in the Town of Carnduff (33 KM from Oxbow), the RCMP has a satellite office in the Town Office building and has office hours every Thursday from 10AM to noon.

Fire
The Oxbow Fire Department is run by a group of volunteer fire fighters. The fire hall is located on Main Street. Fire Chief, Doug Pierce 483-5017.
Ambulance
Oxbow and Enniskillen have access to 24 hour ambulance service.

The Oxbow Housing Authority is an administrative branch of Saskatchewan Housing. Oxbow Housing Authority looks over and manages 47 low income rental units and 4 market rent units. The low income units are divided into 42 senior residences and 5 houses. The 4 market rent units are duplexes.

Parks and Playgrounds
Bow Valley Park 
Bow Valley Park is nestled in Souris Valley. Bow Valley Park is located south of Oxbow just off of Marconi Road in the valley. There are well treed camp sites with full services. The Souris River runs along side the park. The wide open park also has trails perfect for your hiking adventure. The park features:
- 20 Electric camp sites & 15 Non-Electric
- Children's playground
- Cookhouse
- Showers & Bathrooms
- Ball Diamonds
- Lady Souris boat rides
- Drinking water
- Dumping station
$15 per electric site or $10 per non-electric site. Weekly rates at $90 per electirc site or $60 per non-electric.
At this time, campsites are on a first come first serve basis. Moose Creek Regional Park
Moose Creek Regional Park is located 4 miles North and 1.5 miles West of Oxbow. Moose Creek is a full service camp site with electric and water campsites. Group camping, tenting and primitive campsites are also available. Services include: dumping station, boat launch, picnic tables, grills, showers, and fish filleting shack.
Moose Creek offers many recreational activities such as boating, fishing, swimming, golfing, and a playground.

Lions Playground
Lions playground is located across the Oxbow swimming pool and Oxbow arena. Playground is equipped with many play structures.

We provide emergency help for families in our area (i.e. medical travel, groceries, etc.). We also help to provide for the needs of children. We do annual Christmas hampers for Oxbow and surrounding area.
Southeast Al-Anon

Southeast Al-Anon meets every Thursday at 8 P.M. year round at Greer Block on Main Street (Old Bank Building).
Since this is an anonymous fellowship, we will not provide names, only numbers. Al-Anon is a fellowship of men and women, friends and relatives of alcoholics, who come together to solve their common problem by sharing their experience, strength and hope. There are no dues for membership.
