The Community Development Office is a partnership between the Town of Oxbow and the R.M. of Enniskillen. This office was created in November of 2005 to address and assist with the expansion of the community growing mainly out of the oil boom in South East Saskatchewan.

The main priority of the office is to provide supports to all those facilities, businesses and organizations that make Oxbow a wonderful place to visit and a great place to live. Business, culture, recreation and tourism were all identified as an important part of the community development plan.
